Open Positions

The MOVTA is looking for a few charismatic and driven RVTs to help serve on our board. The Board consists of working RVTs in the state of Missouri who volunteer their time to publish a quarterly newsletter, maintain a website with job ads and information pertinent to the field, and to create a free five-hour CE conference for all members. We are always looking for additional volunteers to help lessen the workload. We have a need for a wide variety of roles.

Applicants must be full voting members of MOVTA (unless otherwise designated) working in the state of MO. All positions will require participation in mandatory scheduled board meetings (you may phone in), participation in board discussions and decisions, as well as the possibility of travel to different areas of the state. All board positions are NON PAID, VOLUNTEER positions and no compensation will be awarded for time spent on board or committee duties.

District Representatives - coming soon

District Representatives help streamline communication between MOVTA and area technicians. This may include running and maintaining a region-specific facebook page for that area, reporting CE events, job postings, etc. They represent the views of their constituents and be voting members of the Board of Directors, inform the district membership of actions pending and actions taken by the Board of Directors, and run a local social media group to keep counties in their district informed of MOVTA news as well as local CE events, job opportunities, etc.
