License Renewal
The Missouri Veterinary Medical Board is the credentialing body for registered veterinary technicians in Missouri; MOVTA is not involved in the licensing or renewal process. Licenses expire on November 30th of each year and are renewed annually. Renewals must be submitted by paper to MVMB and cannot be done online. Renewal reminders are typically sent out to the mailing address on file a few months before expiration.
If you have questions, we're happy to help, but MVMB will be best suited to help you with license-related questions or issues (contact information is below).
